You've only got two hands, but there's several devices available to us now and we don't have enough limbs to keep up. That's because everything is becoming digitized, from automobiles to refrigerators, but thankfully voice assistant technology is growing and the power of Bluetooth can bring connectivity to the devices we own.
Voice assistant technology is showing strong adoption in America, as 46% of adults are reportedly using the technology to operate their devices. Smartphones in particular, are a driver for adoption, with 42% listing it as the main platform of using it on. Devices like Google Home and Amazon Echo were responsible for 8% of the usage.
The main reason why it's being adopted is because it frees up the hands of the users. Additionally, 26% stated they use voice assistants to connect to other devices, meaning you can connect your phone to your home speaker system, and voice command the music you want to play over streaming services.
